Apple 'n' Apps (Dec 16, 2011)
Trenches II ($1.99, iPhone / $2.99, iPad) enhances the original in every way, and all of the cartoon warfare is extremely well designed too. Trenches II is a should buy that is one of the best strategy gaming experiences out there, that can also appeal to all.

Trenches 2 is a great way to enjoy some real-time strategy in a very user-friendly way. While controls are still an occasional issue due to screen size, the gameplay is still engrossing enough for anyone who's a fan of games like Plants vs. Zombies to check this one out. Similar elements like choosing a limited load-out of units form a larger selection are also here, so there are layers of strategy, with it all still feeling very manageable, even for more twitch-based gamers. Especially with EA's $0.99 holiday sales, this is well worth checking out.
AppSafari (Dec 21, 2011)
Trenches II is a fun app that you will like playing for hours. It’s easy to get started and to keep going, and this app can keep you busy with all the new upgrades and challenging new maps. Once you make your first tank and decimate the field, you will be hooked.
App Spy (Dec 22, 2011)
Trenches 2 has enough content to keep fans playing for a very long time. Does it revolutionize the genre? No. What it does do is offer a fun strategy experience with a load of play options, both in game modes and how a player can approach a level.
Pocket Gamer UK (Dec 21, 2011)
A misjudged sequel that mistakes quantity for quality.
GameZebo (Dec 19, 2011)
Trenches II is an incredible letdown. It's not stable, it shows a serious lack of polish, and, most important of all, it's boring. What's really bizarre is that several of these issues are major steps backwards from previous titles in the series by the same developer. As of right now, there's still a good game beneath all these issues, but it's going to take a lot of polish to uncover it.
Gameplay (Benelux) (Jan 31, 2012)
Trenches II had de ultieme sequel op de gewaardeerde WOII strategiegame Trenches (2009) moeten worden, maar onstabiele code en nutteloos uitgerokken missies maken van deze opvolger eerder een teleurstelling.
