VOI is relaxing minimal puzzle game based on XOR logic;

0+0=0
1+0=1
0+1=1
1+1=0

VOI gives you a few draggable geometric shapes (triangle, square, rhombus, parallelogram etc.) to reach target shape. That's all. Do you think that the easy?

A good game to play in a coffee break

The Good
This game is a series of sixty six individual puzzles where 'all' the player has to so is rearrange some basic black shapes to recreate a pattern. Very simple, very elegant, very satisfying when a puzzle is completed.

Since the artwork consists of black shapes on a white background there's not really a great deal to say about it. It is simple and that is all the game needs.

The puzzles themselves are cleverly presented and challenging without being complicated or impossible and the optional ambient audio track is very relaxing.

The Bad
When a puzzle is completed the pattern the player has just made sort of fragments and falls away so as to be replaced by the next. After sixty five puzzles I was accustomed to this, however when I completed the last puzzle nothing happened. At the very least I expected the pattern to fragment and be replaced with a 'Well Done!' message but this did not happen. I was so sure that there should be some kind of message that I pulled the shapes apart and reassembled them with the same result, it wasn't until I checked my Steam account and saw I had all the Steam achievements that I knew I'd completed the game.
This minor disappointment is my only criticism.

The Bottom Line
I completed all the puzzles in around three hours though that time probably includes drinking time and comfort breaks. I no longer work but this is the kind of coffee-break game that I would have enjoyed playing.
Sixty six puzzles and relaxing music for £0.39p! This was a steal at the price.
