The Adventure of the Intergalactic Cat

Grandma's obnoxious pug Samson needs to be taken on a walk, and the task naturally falls on the player in this choose-your-own narrative. But the everyday account of a dog being taken on a walk would hardly make intriguing grist for a escapist adventure, and so the plot demands thickening by a cat, that Samson is naturally and instinctively drawn to pursue. Not just any cat, mind you, but an intergalactic cat, so when it runs from Samson it can traverse great distances... across which it an be pursued. Some of the widely varied perils this cat can lead the player and Samson through include such hazards as pirates, witches and even the galactic patrol... not bad, but can the player get Samson back home to Grandma in time for supper?
