aerofly FS

Description

aerofly FS is a civilian flight simulator in which the player flies over Switzerland. The main feature of the game is its realistic physics simulation, especially regarding wind. While one of the available planes is a military aircraft (the rest are gliders and propeller planes), there are no shooting components involved: the player just flies over the environment while looking at the Alps and optionally using some of the detailed airports. Novice players can turn down the realism level and activate one of two autopilot features in order to make flying easier.

The versions for Macintosh and Windows feature additional challenges in which the player has to solve tasks (e.g. slope soaring, basic flying maneuvers or aerobatics). Those are completely optional, separately started and - depending on the time and if all gates were passed correctly - award a bronze, silver or gold trophy. Exclusive to the Windows version is head tracking support.

Out of the box, there are eight machines available: Cessna 172 Skyhawk, McDonnel Douglas F/A-18 Hornet, Jodel Robin DR 400 / 140 B Major, Pitts S-2B, Discus bM, Swift S1, Sopwith F1 Camel and Extra 330 LX. More can be purchased as DLC (downloadable content) respectively in-app purchase.
