Dream of Pixels
Description official description
Dream of Pixels is a puzzle game with tetromino blocks that fall out of a mass on top of the playfield. It's easiest to think about it as reverse Tetris. Instead of stacking tetrominos to make full lines (which disappear and give you points), you start with full lines and you have to clear all their blocks to get points. There is an indicator that shows which of the tetromino shapes you need to get out of the mass, and you can only remove the tetromino if there is a path leading out to the bottom, following the same rules of rotating and moving as in Tetris.
The game has multiple modes, one of which plays significantly different and offers single screen images that you have to clear using the game's rules, but limited to specific tetrominos. It also offers undo/redo and is much more thinking instead of action oriented.
Visual style follows the theme of being in the sky, with the mass of blocks and tetrominos resembling clouds with colorful, swirling appearance. The game has a soothing electronic soundtrack that gets progressively more upbeat as the levels in the game increase.
