Frog Minutes
Description
Frog Minutes is an easy, open-ended game in which the player's only goal is to feed critters such as grasshoppers and flies to frogs before their appetites are sufficiently complete to be caught.
Frog Minutes includes a total of ten frogs and five special creatures for them to eat; these 15 creatures have a dedicated "Field Guide" entry which can be read to them by the narrator, who also periodically helps the player during the search. The game also asks players to reach 50 different gameplay goals; doing so completes a puzzle-styled image of a frog, filled as these goals are reached, as well as achieving the game's sole Game Centre achievement. A menu in Frog Minutes maintains a list of the player's caught frogs and critters, their overall play time, the latest and longest catch sequence, and the amount of frogs that were not caught.
The game was designed as a tribute to the 2011 earthquake which ruptured Japan, with proceeds of the game's sales being contributed to Japan's relief fund.
