Geo-Defense is the type of game that takes only minutes to learn, but almost impossible to master. A great addition if you are a fan of the TD genre.
IGN (Mar 27, 2009)
For a $0.99 iPhone game, GeoDefense is one heck of a title, and even at the eventual $4 mark it’s well worth the buy. It’s an extremely difficult game, and one that will really require players to try each level dozens of times through to complete or fully master, and even longer once high scores become a factor. It’s a shame there isn’t online leaderboards, and a few little changes would go a long way (hit zones for buttons is a little small, specifically with the pause and “advance wave” button) but for the most part GeoDefense is a well presented, well designed game that ranks up there with the best TD titles on the platform. Updates would be nice, but a sequel is mandatory. I know you’re reading this David…

I would have paid four times the price for this excellent little game, and it's taken up a lot of my on-the-go game time since I put it on the iPhone. If you're a fan of the tower defense genre or strategy games in general, this one is well worth your time, especially for the super-cheap price tag!
Slide to Play (Apr 03, 2009)
At this point, the game turned into a bit of a spamfest. We were able to progress by laying down as many towers as we could fit onto the map and upgrading constantly. It was still a tactical exercise to some extent, but it no longer played much like tower defense -- there were so many sparks and explosions we couldn't even see what was going on half the time. But geoDefense is still a refreshing, enjoyable game, regardless of what you call it. It moves fast, it looks great, and there's a lot of content here for a buck. We recommend it.
