Hay Ewe

Hay Ewe is a puzzle game set in a cartoon world. You assume the role of Matilda the sheep and must use your finger to draw a path for your sheep to follow, navigate challenging puzzles and avoid treacherous obstacles with your chain of lambs to deliver them to the safety of the barn. Along the way you encounter both hazardous and helpful characters ranging from a milk shooting cow to a snowball throwing Yeti. Each character affects the gameplay and hinders you in finding the safest path or unlocking a lamb from another pen.

In Adventure mode you progress through each level earning a maximum of 3 stars for total completion of a level, collecting all lambs in the lowest number of moves. The player is also rewarded with an unlocked cosmetic item for each level completed, in the form of a floppy disk. Later in the game you are also given boosts such as portals for teleporting to stale tuna to feed the sharks. All of these items can be purchased via the in game shop using candy that drops from the sky.

The game also features some fast paced mini-games as an alternative to the thinking puzzles of the core game. These range from simple whack-a-mole types to the more complex survival games where you must avoid stampeding bulls or dodge incoming snowballs. Each mini-game has a leaderboard and shows your friends progress.

Hay Ewe includes a level editor that allows players to create their own puzzle levels and then challenge their friends to complete them online using their Facebook account. Each item in the editor is unlocked as encountered in the game and can be uploaded via a challenge to friends who also own the game. The game does not post to your Facebook feed and only uses your account to identify other friends who have the game.
