Liberty Wings

Liberty Wings is a shooter set during World War II where the player controls a plane. The game mixes three distinctly different game styles. There are four different locales and they can be played in each game type, providing 12 levels in total.

In the first one the game is shown from a top-down view with gameplay similar to 1942. In these vertically-scrolling missions the plane shoots automatically. The goal is to take out enemies in the air and on the ground while picking up items. A big red icon in the top right side of the screen is filled up gradually. Once it turns green, a bomber can be called to sweep the area with additional offensive means.

The second game type offers free-roaming top-down gameplay. The plane can be steered freely in any direction to shoots opponents. The goal in these missions to take out specific targets by bombing them with a secondary weapon. There is a large white cross-hair that helps aiming. Surviving is also determined by collecting different health pick-ups to last as long as possible.

The third game type is a horizontally-scrolling shooter shown from with a 3rd-person side view.

Next to the campaign mode there is a free mode and started games can be continued. Controls are available through touch and tilt, or using a virtual D-pad. The game has been made available for free and for a small fee during certain periods, but there are three types of commercial in-app purchases:* Unlimited life
