Description
The famous quiz show makes its way to Facebook in an altered form that simplifies the familiar format and adds social features. Like the television version, the player will go through the Jeopardy!, Double Jeopardy!, and Final Jeopardy! rounds. For the first two rounds, instead of a full board of six categories with five questions each, the player is presented with six categories and five dollar amounts, choosing one and then the other. Once chosen, that option is removed from the board. When the question is displayed, the player may attempt the answer the question, pass on it, or use coins (earned by playing or purchased with real-world cash) to double the winnings. The questions are multiple choice as opposed to the open-ended "answers in the form of questions." One of the questions will be a Daily Double, which allows the player to bid some or all of their current winnings.
The player must have at least $1 to proceed to Final Jeopardy! or the game ends immediately. Otherwise they are shown a topic, then asked to bid. Once they bid, the question is given to them, also with multiple choice answers. Winnings go toward a banked dollar amount that allows the player to level up once they reach a specified amount, and the player will also receive coins and more "episodes." Episodes refer to each individual game, and once the number of episodes is depleted the player must either wait a day for more to be awarded, or buy more using coins or Facebook credits.
