Description official descriptions

In Kairobotica, a brigade of mass-produced square-headed robots, the Kairobot Corps, is charged with keeping peace in the universe. They work with Space Security Coalition. The game is a mix of a strategy game, an RPG, and FarmVille.

Before entering patrolling missions in other planets, the player need to build buildings in Kairobots' home world (Pixels, a "mobile colony"), like Kairo Houses to house robots and increase the maximum amount of them, factories to produce them, farms for growing crops and feed the army. Buildings have a cost and need some time to be built, they also need upkeep. Items can be used to upgrade the facilities, their fun factor, culture, so improving the development of the colony to make it more attractive to tourists from other planets. This applies to every kind of building, e.g. factories have a culture rating. Facilities level up after being upgraded some times. For instance, a level-1 Kairo House can house 2 Kairobots, a level-2 one up to 4.

Combat is turn-based and displayed by a side view, similarly with classic RPGs. Troops strength is measured by 4 parameters: HP, Attack, Speed and Intelligence. Like in RPGs, Kairobots have a level for their Head, Arms, Legs and Body: they level up by experience points got winning battles. Completing a patrol mission gives a money reward, item reward, and increases Kairobots Corps reputation and the amity with the planet just helped. Items can also be obtained winning a single battle, if a treasure chest appears near the enemy. A patrol completed without ever returning to Pixels is a perfect patrol, and grants better rewards.

Shops, like repair shops or tool shops, may be discovered on planets while patrolling. Alliances can be set later in the game. Techniques can be learned. There are 20 special types of Kairobots with additional or different abilities that can be produced or even found during missions. A window resumes the colony status, showing speed, reputation, shields status, missions completed, patrols completed, visitors received. There also is a newspaper, the Galactic Colony news, providing news about the latest events in Pixels, new galactic threats, or Kairobot Corps' last pieces of success. It is possible to save the game, and view a tutorial, at any time. In game time is divided into years, months and weeks. The first call for help will come from planet Earth, where monsters have been seen...
