Bad Golf: Community Edition
Description
Bad Golf: Community Edition is based on Patrick Hackett's "Bad Golf" pitches from Double Fine's 2012 and 2014 Amnesia Fortnight events. It was developed during Amnesia Fortnight 2012 by the Double Fine fan community, with permission from Double Fine and Patrick Hackett. The latter had created design notes, which the Bad Golf: Community Edition team used to create the game.
Bad Golf: Community Edition is a multiplayer game where the emphasis is on the golf cart driving over the golfing. The players do hit a ball with the intent of getting it in the hole, however, they never stray far from the cart. Players simply exit the cart, swing, and then get back in the cart. This is due to the fact this is a fast-paced game, and players are always in danger of getting their golf carts hit by another player, or having another player run over their ball to make their next swing harder.
The first player to get their ball in the hole wins that hole, and the game continues until all players have hit their ball into the hole. At that point, the players move to the next hole together. The player who wins the most holes wins the game.
