Lost in Mine is a side-scrolling puzzle board game. The action takes place in a mine. The goal is to collect all the coins and reach the exit before time runs out. This can only be completed by properly maneuvering platform control devices and using mining machines in suitable locations. A lot of useful objects are located behind closed doors, so it is necessary to find the keys and use them in the appropriate order. Apart of platforms and elevators the player a teleport device can be used to travel. Operating the heavy machinery, such as drillers or tanks requires finding a remote control. Falling from a height results in instant death. In a hopeless situation the player can commit suicide. The game features a total of forty levels. After completing five levels a password is provided.
