Main Title
Prologue
Intro scene showing the Huey prior to the crash.
The list of survivors from the crash, the team you will lead.
You should always be aware of your men's condition, who's in charge and who is the scout.
Once you chose your scouts, you can get back reports up to a certain range.
Aside from setting enemy traps, you can also place your own.
Giving small rests of 10-20 mins but more often improves your men's stats.
The main ingame menu is suited downwards, but experiment with left and right mouse clicks on some options as they're variable.
When you select the marching direction, sometimes you will see animated slides if the terrain corresponds.
Taking a boat ride is a lot safer than swimming.
Although, through shallow water you'll proceed on foot, taking care your weapon doesn't get wet.
Encountering a lone vietcong soldier.
Mano-a-mano, your scout against an enemy soldier.
After a quick combat, always search the area as you may find a food or ammo from enemy troops.
If your leader gets seriously wounded, turn leadership to someone else.
Crossing the rice fields.
Running into a VC patrol.
When fighting against an entire vietcong patrol, watch out for the grenades thrown atcha.
The only difference between you and your soldiers being killed is that when you're killed, whoever you (the leader) are, the game is instantly over.
When approaching the villages, heed warning of a sniper fire.
Talking to the villagers sometimes requires being brutal to get some answers. The sole talking works in a text-parsing way, though.
Finding a VC tunnel in the village. Whatever might be there to find, mmm...
Single farms and cottages won't be marked on the main map, and never trust the character by the look, looks can be deceiving, like in this very case.
Surprised by an enemy gun fire.
In some cases, you will be able to use only grenades. The longer you hold your mouse button, the greater will be throwing distance.
Watch out where you're going, as for some terrain type your team isn't equipped and you may be forced to go back the way you came.
What is important to watch is the clock. On more passable terrain, your team will move faster, and clock will make lesser jumps in minutes.
