Cosmic Osmo and the Worlds Beyond the Mackerel was hard enough to describe; I'm not sure if I can encapsulate its essence in a short review. As the description says, it's like Myst for kids, but it's really more like Myst for kids stuck in a blender. While Myst is an atmospheric puzzle game for adults, Cosmic Osmo is a freaky exploratory game for kids. And that's just the beginning.
Techtite (1999)
Right down to its holographic CD caddy art on the cover, this was a unique game; the first new game from the Miller brothers, who also made The Manhole, and later the infamous Myst. This game was more similar to the children's story feel of Manhole, although it had far more areas to explore, and was more of a sci-fi themed game than fairy tale. A cute game for the kids, if you can find it.
