Hotbarrels Clay Pigeon Shooting
Description
Hotbarrels Clay Pigeon Shooting is a one or two player shooting game that plays directly from the CD. It is developed using Macromedia Flash Player 7.
The game has two game modes, 'Practice' and 'Shooting Challenge' and two levels of difficulty. In the practice mode the player can shoot on any one of nine stands using the spacebar to release the clays and the mouse to aim and shoot. Each stand is based on a photographic background taken from Harewood Estate in North Yorkshire, England. Twenty clays are released two at a time and at each stand they have different flight patterns imitating decoyed pigeon, duck, driven grouse, partridge, high pheasant, woodcock, bolting rabbit, snipe and springing teal.
After the player has practiced all nine stands they can take the Shooting Challenge in which they must play through all nine stands in sequence as well as a tenth stand, 'Flush', in which one hundred clays of different sizes are released and the player has to score as many points as possible with fifty shots. If the player beats the previous high score they are allowed to repeat the Flush stand without having to plough through the preceding nine.
