Description

Sierra and Hoyle continue their game series with this crossword package of puzzles you'd find in the newspaper. It's set up in a calendar with a daily puzzle plus even more available for 500 puzzles in total. There's five different skill levels as well, from beginner to expert. In addition to solo games, you can also play with another player on the same computer or over the Internet. On the play screen, there is a scrollable list of clues for words written across or down on the play board. You can type a letter or a whole word, or easily erase anything on the board as well.

With the Facemaker utility, you can customize a picture of your character for online play. You can also choose a computer character to play with who will make wise cracks while you play. You can save a puzzle or print it out. Also, you can browse an in-program version of Webster's New World College Dictionary to check words and their meanings.
