If you never mind the crashes (here's the Sex Pistols) and are looking to exercise your noggin, Jeopardy 2 is terribly engaging. However, something that fascinates you but fails at a critical moment is more than a summary of the works of Stephen King, it's a criticism which keeps Jeopardy 2 from being a five star game.
Jeopardy 2nd Edition is, overall, an engaging trivia game that matches the TV show. [MacSoft promises a patch to fix the problems that came up that may even be out by the time you read this, until then, trivia fans can wade through the quirks as-is.]
About This Particular Macintosh (Feb, 2002)
Jeopardy! 2nd Edition almost exactly replicates the “look and feel” and game play of Jeopardy!, although I am disappointed that there were no substantial improvements. I would have liked much better video (distributed on a second CD), the ability to save settings, the ability to choose from a variety of computer opponents with different abilities and playing styles, and the ability to add expansion modules instead of entire new game versions.
