Nevermore

Nevermore is a short game set in the playground of a school where all the big boys are bullying little Anna. Fortunately her teddy bear Mr Huggles knows a solution: she should play hopscotch to cheer up again. To draw a hopscotch diagram Anna needs some paint. Mr. Huggles sneakily suggests that the other children have stolen all red paint and store it inside their bodies. All Anna needs to do is slash open the other boys to collect the paint.

Anna has only got five minutes before the school bell rings. She has to attack the bullies with a sword in one hand and Mr. Huggles in the other. All bullies have an identical look, but the color of their shirt shows how strong they are. Once a boy has been sliced open or has been catapulted away, Anna can hold Mr. Huggles in the air to have him soak the blood. This fills up a meter on the right side of the screen. Anna can explore the playground freely and has three distinct attacks at her disposal. She can also jump to avoid incoming kicks.

While fighting she is constantly encouraged by Mr. Huggles and when she has collected a sufficient amount of "paint", she has to run to a statue to draw the hopscotch diagram. When Anna is hurt during a fight, a certain amount of blood is deducted from the meter.
