About This Particular Macintosh (Dec, 2003)
[v.3.0] This leads nicely into perhaps the biggest fault of the application: while the game’s graphics are extremely simplistic, the animation and redraw speed slows noticeably when tasks such as checking e-mail start happening in the background. This is only a minor annoyance, however, as it does little to reduce the addictive qualities of the game.
About This Particular Macintosh (Jul, 1997)
[v.2.0] This is a top-notch game. If other games leave you wishing for a slower, gentler age, try Snood before you get out the Atari. Mind you, judging from the comments left on the Snood World High Score List [URL above], there’s no shortage of competitive instinct associated with this game.
Mac Game Gate (2000)
Snood is one of my personal favorite Macintosh strategy/puzzle game. It includes cool graphics, a funny story, and good gameplay. This game is especially developed for younger children, but it is so relaxing and fun that even 90-year olds can enjoy it. It is like Tetris; a fun but simple concept.
Macworld (Oct 01, 2003)
Snood's interface is a little clunky and, to be honest, is showing its age. The myriad menu items might be confusing for younger players, but it's easy enough for adults to set up a game and get players off and running quickly. Snood is perfect for parents looking for a challenging, kid-friendly arcade-style puzzle game without any offensive or questionable material. And kids love the ogling Snood faces.
All Game Guide (1998)
Like its arcade cousin, Snood is an addicting game you will find yourself playing again and again. Get addicted, and discover the fun of Snood.
