Maestro: Music of Death
Description official description
Maestro: Music of Death is about an inspector called to investigate an entire town that has been quarantined on the edge of Paris. Quickly you discover that this isn’t some ordinary outbreak or pandemic that has infected the town. Someone or something must be behind this supernatural force that can age the town’s people in a matter of seconds. Maybe it’s the mysterious old woman that has threatened you to leave this place or forfeit your life. A mother who is forbidden to enter the town due to the quarantine has given you another task which is to find her daughter who is trapped inside. You must find and save the young girl that is somehow tied to this strange and eerie music which seems to emanate throughout the town.
The player interface and game mechanics provide a hybrid approach of graphical adventure with on screen movement touch points, puzzles and hidden-object search style game play. Objects collected in inventory at the bottom of the screen require the player to drop or drag them onto other items in the scenes to activate or complete needed tasks for progression. Hidden object scenes are somewhat traditional with word objects at the bottom. Some scene objects must be opened, moved or used to finally reveal the object to be found. Objects requiring this function are listed in a different colored text.
