IntellivisionAll Game Guide (1998)
Major League Baseball looks quite good and certainly blows away Home Run on the Atari, Intellivision's major competition.
IntellivisionThe Video Game Critic (Apr 14, 2001)
Overall, MLB still holds up fairly well. As with most early Intellivision games, this is two-player only. Mattel released a better, more advanced baseball game called World Championship Baseball in 1983.
Atari 2600Woodgrain Wonderland (May 15, 2018)
Even though I’ve only played the pitching game of Super Challenge Baseball, I can already tell it’s better than Atari’s RealSports or Super Baseball because the controls actually work.
Atari 2600Electronic Fun with Computers & Games (Dec, 1982)
Super Challenge Baseball is a worthwhile investment for the VCS owner. It is not quite the equal of Intellivision's Major League Baseball, but is more than adequate for any video sports addict. Graphics remain realistic despite the absence of a shortstop. Sending the center fielder after the ball did prove difficult.
Atari 2600The Video Game Critic (Jun 04, 2019)
Super Challenge Baseball isn't as super as it used to be and the real challenge clearly lies in grasping the controls.
