Making History II: The War of the World is the successor of Making History, a turn-based game about the WWII era.
Offering the opportunity to also manage non-military affairs, much of the gameplay is dedicated to diplomacy and economical production. With the fact of all countries of the world are available to play featuring some real characteristics like culture, ethnicity and religion, and with key decisions about the focusing of industrial production and research, the games lead much of the player's attention to management.
In the martial section, Making History II: The War of the World offers some unique-looking units, that replace the respective ordinary unit from that country, creating a depth of authenticity. However, the combat itself is simpler them other games subjects, counting with minor geography effects, with the odds of the combat being decided on units' combined attack values opposed to the opponent units' combined defense.
