Trivia
Cancelled US version
The U.S. was almost about to get
Mega Man Battle & Chase. It was already being advertised in U.S. gaming magazines and had a firm release date set. Then Sony stepped in and denied them approval to release the game. Capcom had no choice but to cancel the whole thing.
Music
Roll's theme song,
Winds, Let Him Know, was first used in
Rockman Battle & Chase, then spread out to
Marvel Vs. Capcom and
Rockman 6 for the PS1. It was again her theme in
MvsC, and played during the ending of
Rockman 6 (when the Wily Robots were showing off).
Version differences
The Japanese version of Battle & Chase has much voice acting, most of which is running commentary by two reporter robots in the game. Almost all of it was removed from the English version.
