The games are definitely themed similarly, but they are also very clearly different games.

This arcade version of Moonwalker was actually the Genesis version used on Mega-Tech Hardware where many Genesis games were used in arcade machines.

Good to have the clarification, we had a number of similar bouts of confusion with NES and Playchoice-10 arcade games. The approvers hassled me when I submitted them, so I should have trusted them to have used similar rigour on this one.
