Trivia
Locations
As well as all the classic locations from the board game, Monopoly Tycoon has three dockland properties; Port Jefferson, Albany Dock, and Hempstead Harbor. Unlike the streets, which are located in Atlantic City, New Jersey, these are waterfront locations on the Long Island Sound in New York.
Misleading advertising
Although the front covers say "From the people who brought you
RollerCoaster Tycoon", none of the core developers are shared between the two games. The blurb supposedly only refers to the common publisher at the time (Infogrames).
