There's not a whole lot more I can say about this fabulous game. I've been talking about it all year for the 3DO and the Gameboy. I love every single aspect of this thing; the diverse characters, the different weapons, the spectacular graphics, the ching, chang thwip of steel on steel fighting, the humour and the overall attention to every tiny detail. Sure the game is a little aged now but it is a classic in every capacity and if you own a Neo Geo CD or are thinking of getting one, this will surely be one of the first titles you pick up. If it isn't, you've either played the game to death or you've graduated to the even better Samurai Shodown 2. Video gaming's sacred hall of fighting games would be an empty shell without the inclusion of this divine blade scrapper.

If you want a really cool game that lets you chop your mates into small chunks, then Samurai Shodown on the Neo Geo CD is definitely for you.
