ZX SpectrumScore (Oct, 1994)
Amstrad CPCAmstrad Action (Jun, 1987)
The robots and landscape are drawn in some detail but - and I'm getting tired of saying it - the use of colour is awful again. Just yellow and black for the playing area and robots. It isn't particularly hard to produce good colour on the CPCs so why can't Argus Press? Apart from that it's an excellent game, a nice piece of future strategy that will provide many hours of fun.
ZX SpectrumRetrogaming History (Jul 19, 2010)
ZX SpectrumCrash! (May, 1987)
I didn't really like Nether Earth the first time I played it - it wasn't too long before the game really began to unfold, and when it did, I found it much more playable. I especially enjoyed the robot building sequence, but the rest is equally worth looking at. It's not a fast aggressive shoot'em-up as the inlay might lead you to believe, but it is fun and quite reasonable at the price.

Un excellent jeu mêlant action et stratégie. Bons graphismes.
ZX SpectrumComputer Gamer (May, 1987)
This is not a game you can play in an odd few minutes. It needs careful planning to win the day. Those prepared to learn the necessary might survive long enough to bomb the enemy bases and win the game.
ZX SpectrumASM (Aktueller Software Markt) (Apr, 1987)
Commodore 64Zzap! (Jun, 1987)
A potentially good idea ruined by inept execution.
