Description

In the near future, atmospheric damage has raised radiation and ultraviolet levels on Earth to dangerous levels, forcing humanity to only venture outside during the night hours. Artificial lifeforms called "Mimics", which look and act much like humans, now perform daytime work of many kinds. Though the use of Mimics is highly regulated, they are believed to be highly safe and reliable, but following an apparent Mimic suicide, a government investigation is launched at Biowell Corporation, the creators of the Mimics. Is there something sinister lurking within Biowell, and within the Mimics themselves?

Kono Hareta Sora no Shita de ("Under the Blue Sky") is a Japanese-style sci-fi visual novel. The player takes the part of insurance investigator Reiichi Kuroha, who along with his partner and a representative from Biowell, must investigate the circumstances surrounding the mysterious Mimic suicide. The game consists primarily of written text with accompanying still images, and there are occasional choices that will cause the story to branch.
