Nuclear Strike

Sequel

The ending of the game features an ad for a "coming soon" sequel, titled Future Strike. That game was already in development, but the project was scrapped and Future Strike became Future Cop: L.A.P.D.

Trailer

The first trailer for Nuclear Strike featured a brief portion of heavy metal band Testament's Electric Crown.

TV ads

When the game first launched, EA put out a TV ad blitz, featuring a crew at night taking a spray paint can and painting out the markings on a AH-1-type attack helicopter. Another TV ad dramatically depicted a nuclear explosion eviscerating a city in great detail, with some influence taken from Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
