Oh! Cube is a 3-dimensional nonogram/picross game where the aim is, much like in its flat counterparts, to uncover a hidden picture. This is done by using number clues found on the puzzles which determine whether a block should be removed or kept. There is an option to "label" blocks to not mistakenly tap them when they are to be saved.

The puzzles are all fully rotatable and scalable for a good overview. There is also an option to remove layers of the puzzle to see "inside" and remove unwanted blocks normally obstructed from view.

The game offers 200 puzzles and several different game modes. Aside from the normal puzzles with scaling difficulty in the "easy", "normal" and "hard" category where the player gets up to 3 mistakes on each puzzle before failing, there's also a Perfect mode and a Time mode. In Perfect mode the player has to solve the puzzle without making a single mistake or the puzzle ends. In Time mode the puzzle works the same as in the normal game modes, but also features a countdown timer. When the time reaches zero, the puzzle ends if not solved. Some of the game modes are initially locked, but will unlock as the player earns stars by completing puzzles.

As the player progresses through the game, all solved puzzles become animated and added to various galleries for later viewing.
