Before playing this game, rereading the story of Jason and the Golden Fleece, the Iliad and the Odyssey, and any other Greek mythology will be helpful and rewarding. These stories will yield many clever ploys that can - say - get you out of the Sirens' clutches. Even so, coauthor Bob Davis says that a good adventurer working 24 hours a day would need a couple of weeks to recapture the Fleece, which means that the game is quite likely to remain on your "actively played" shelf for the better part of a year.
