Arcade version
Zippy Race was, originally, released in the arcades. A DIP switch allowed the operator to change the title screen from Zippy Race to Traverse USA and back. The game was licensed to Williams and released in US arcades as MotoRace USA.
Famicom cartridge
The Famicom cartridge contains an LED that lights up when the cart is inserted into the Famicom and the Famicom is switched on.
