Another game from Cryo that completely overlooks gameplay...
The Good
I remember the graphics were reasonable at the time it was released. It featured some nice pre-rendered scenarios, but that's about it. It featured a variety of settings, like flying around the exterior of alcatraz and piloting an array of other vehicles.
The Bad
Everything from the awful, boring and extremely limited gameplay to the lame acting and cutscenes, this game got it all wrong. It came out during the climax of the FMV and pre-rendered cutscenes revolution, so they jammed it all in this one. Sadly, they forgot about making it an actual game.
The Bottom Line
Raven Project tried to benefit from unadvised players who liked Rebel Assault and wanted more of the same until the sequel came along, but it failed miserably.
