This game gave me P.T.S.D.

The Good
First of all, I love Scooby-Doo: Where Are You, and the New Scooby-Doo Movies. They left an impact on my views of cartoons, and TV series in general. The game, however, has some good moments. For example, The T-Rex boss in the Prehistoric Jungle was amazing, and the Ancient Japan levels were easy.

The Bad
After going through Ancient Japan, everything went downhill! The difficulty spiked from easy to hard, which is not cool. Every time you get hit, you received knockback from your enemies. Sometimes, you could a life by getting knocked into a PIT! It drove me insane by wonky hit detection. Then in the later levels, it just stay hard because of the limited pies you have to use, and the controls can be sniffed. The final boss is actually one of the worst boss battles of all time. I hate this boss, especially its third form where it is impossible to dodge the Phantom Virus' attacks. Plus, it also a ripoff to the Crash Bandicoot games, which I was surprised to see the comparisons.

The Bottom Line
Don't even buy this game, or let alone play it. If you're a fan of the original Scooby-Doo series from 1969. I will not recommend this game to anyone.

2/10: Not Worth It!

Scooby-Doo and the Bandicoot

The Good
Some creative looking environments.

The Bad
Crash Bandicoot clone with obnoxious level design. Boss battles are nonsense at times (the last one especially). Some of the collectable placements are nonsense as well. The 'vehicle' levels (ones with the skateboard or bobsleigh) are extra jank. Annoying enemies. Projectile throwing is slow and annoying.

The Bottom Line
You'd think it'd be simple to come up with a video game based on a movie that takes place in a video game but alas... Jankness awaits.
