The Prince of Tyndal is a fantasy adventure game by Tartan Software. You play as the titular prince and are tasked with a secret mission to recover the Rod of Wisdom which has recently been stolen by a sorcerer. After disguising yourself as a peasant, you discover the first challenge: sneaking out of your own castle without being recognized. Once you escape, there is still a long road before you can locate the sorcerer and reclaim the lost rod. Gameplay is through a simple two-word text parser.

Confusion over developer

"Computer and Video Games" magazine, issue 68 for June 1987, lists Tom Frost at the author of this game however that is not given in the game itself or its manual. "World of Spectrum" credits this game to Gladys and Gerry Officer.
