Vandal Online (Jun 23, 2009)
UOL Jogos (Jun 22, 2009)
Digital Chumps (Jun 14, 2009)
I was hoping for a lot more from Staff of Kings, but in the end it's a strictly mediocre game. It's worth playing through, but even at its budget price of $30 it's hard to outright recommend for purchase, although I do recommended you check it out for yourself.
Worth Playing (Aug 04, 2009)
The game's relatively low difficulty and short adventure mean that Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings can be finished in a day. The good news is that it means you may not experience the irregular distances between some of the checkpoints. Enjoying the game also depends largely on how much of a fan you are of the franchise; the title may only be appreciated by those who are willing to look past some of its bigger flaws. Even so, its relatively short escape to parts unknown, coupled with its limited gameplay, can make this adventure feel like another in a growing string of low moments in Indy's console career.

PSX Extreme (Jul 09, 2009)
Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is entirely unremarkable. The solid design ideas and diverse nature of the gameplay keeps it semi-interesting, but it never reaches out and grabs you. And in fact, it just doesn’t have that capability. The techincals are too drab and out-of-date (even for PS2 software), the clunky controls will put a damper on just about everything you do, and the storyline is about as memorable as the game itself. I suppose that if it shows up in the bargain bin for ten bucks, and you happen to be a huge Indiana Jones fan, it might be worth a look; something to play through on a rainy day. But it’s certainly not recommended at the current $30 price point and even though there’s nothing horribly wrong with this production, it's just…just…’yawn’
