A masterpiece returns... Alundra, one of the gems of the PS1 system ... In a time where gamers are sick of playing the same thing over and over in all the games they buy, they are looking for new experiences… sometimes the best place to find them are in old games! ... The game has an extremely long story with very challenging parts, so you will be sure to get value for the €5 the game costs on the PS Store.

MonkeyPaw has done a great service by its fans with bringing over some real classic PlayStation games to the PSN, but Alundra may just be the best of these. It has some brilliant level design, coupled with a visual style that still holds its head high today. It might not have stuck around as Zelda has through the years, but this is essential for anyone who like this style of game.

Understood by gamers from the time of its release to now as a refreshingly dark and more challenging alternative to Zelda, Alundra remains one of the most pure and most patience-derailing Action/Adventure/Role-Playing games in history. ... Alundra offers you an "open" overworld ... Everyone looking for a solid, puzzle-ridden challenge and a surprisingly deep plot, as well as a game with a great semi-retro soundtrack, needs to download this game. ... To me, this game goes toe-to-toe with Action RPGs in 2010, only it's much cheaper. Give it a shot.
