Harley Quinn's Revenge is two more hours of Batman: Arkham City for $10. That's really all you need to know, right? It's pretty, it's fun to silently KO people with a bo staff, the voice acting is great, and an epilogue revolving around an emotionally broken Batman is intriguing. I wish the missions were a bit more varied than the fetch quest/fight formula and that we had a closing conversation that summed up what Batman's going through, but Harley Quinn's Revenge is a great update to what's going on in the Arkham City universe.
Arkham City’s conclusion ends not with a bang but more of a wet thud. It’s a perfectly functional little slice of the Arkham City experience that gives the fans some of the things they have been asking for without being too ambitious.
Overall, I'd say my recommendation to purchase relies heavily on how into Batman you are. The more invested you are, the more likely it's going to matter to you. I found the glimpses into the psyche of a Batman without a Joker absolutely fascinating and worth the price of admission. If that's sounds right up your alley, have at it. If not, perhaps you're better served waiting for a bargain price.
Unfortunately, once you start getting into the groove with Robin, Harley Quinn’s Revenge ends. Sure there are Trophies and Achievements to go back and get, but the main story can be completed in about 2 hours. As a part of the Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition, Harley Quinn’s Revenge adds to the overall value, but as stand-alone DLC it will probably leave you wanting more.
