Ride to Hell: Retribution

Development

The game originally started as a co-production between Deep Silver GmbH and Eutechnyx Limited as an open world game called Ride to Hell, with art provided by Massive Black. Originally announced in 2008, it was reported cancelled in 2009 and disappeared from the Deep Silver website. Development continued at Eutechnyx and the Vienna Deep Silver division that had worked on the game went under in 2010. The open world design was abandoned and the decision was made to split the game into different titles. These became Ride to Hell: Retribution (PC, PS3, Xbox 360), Ride to Hell: Route 666 (downloadable release for PS3 and Xbox 360) and Ride To Hell: Beatdown (mobile). The latter two were never released.
