So in summary, invite some friends round, get a pair of snug running tights with some salami wedged down the front, some adidas boxing boots and a bushy moustache, get your party gown, let your pigtail down and get your heart beating baby. Brilliant.
Impulse Gamer (2009)
In terms of gameplay, this is Singstar for the PS3 and nothing new has been added to the franchise besides a paint of Queen inspired wallpapers to the game that gives the game that "Queen" look. At the end of the daym if you are a Queen fan than this is the game for you. Buy some beer, munchies and invite your friends over. It's time to relive those classic songs in this interactive karaoke game called Singstar. Brilliant!
Wonderwallweb.com (Mar 08, 2009)
Singstar Queen is a excellent addition to the series and considering the price and the fact that there are 20+ songs on the disc, it's also great value. Long may these excellent additions to Singstar continue.
The Review Busters (2009)
I don't know what else to say other than if you're a fan of both the SingStar games and Queen then you should pick up a copy of SingStar: Queen. It's that simple.
Eurogamer.pt (Mar 27, 2009)
Gameplanet (Mar 30, 2009)
Around half of the tracks found on SingStar Queen are available to download from SingStore, which may suit the casual gamer who may only want a handful of the better known tracks to add to their library; however true blue fans of Queen shouldn’t settle for anything less than the complete package. It’s all here… and it’s all good.
Boomtown (Apr 07, 2009)
Ultimately, the value of the package to users that may already have the content doesn’t detract from the overall quality, and SingStar Queen is a superb addition to the franchise. Ironically it’s not for the die hard fans, since they’ve already bought most of the songs from the SingStore, but for those fans that haven’t got Queen songs yet, it’s an absolute must buy. And for everyone else it’s a should buy.

So if you’re a Queen fan and a SingStar fan, go buy this game – it’s way better than SingStar Abba, but I only say that because Abba causes me to wince. If you can, grab the PS3 version.
AusGamers (May 12, 2009)
SingStar has a successful, albeit not overly varied past. Originally released in 2004 the franchise has been a series of themed sequels with only the occasional jump in gameplay and platform to spice up the obvious attraction of the set list to potential karaokers around the world. Enter SingStar Queen - the best SingStar yet! Like SingStar ABBA released last year, Queen provides a homogenous list of content to keep fans happy for longer videogame party sessions. Not only is there an element of extrovert strut required in emulating Queen front man Freddy Mercury, there is also the excellent Queen video clips to relive.
GameSpot (Aug 03, 2009)
SingStar Queen's video imagery is as iconic as its music, given that Freddie Mercury is as amazing to watch as he is to hear. The way he struts across the stage while singing "Another One Bites the Dust," and his sly wink to the camera while dressed as a housewife in "I Want to Break Free," will both energize your karaoke party and make you appreciate Queen more than ever. It's still the same-old SingStar, and getting the most out of this one will take a little more work than usual. But the band's excellent layered sound makes for a good time with friends--all while hoping the neighbors can't hear your voice crack while screeching "Who Wants to Live Forever" into the microphone.
Thunderbolt Games (Mar 22, 2009)
SingStar: Queen is clearly just a track pack, offering nothing new to the series. If you’re a fan of the group and don’t already own any of the songs for the game then it may be a worthy purchase. For anybody just wanting their most well known songs, then it’s probably best to save your money and buy the songs from the SingStore.
The fans that this game is aimed at will most probably have downloaded the ten tracks already available. For them, the rest of the songs are now up on the store, but it dampens the impact of the disc itself. SingStar Queen will play host to some of the best moments of the year for fans of the series and for this reason alone it should be in your karaoke collection. Whether that's through the SingStore or in this new disc version is completely dependent upon whether you've been enjoying the band's hits on the game for a few months or not. Either way, who wouldn't you want to strike their best Freddie Mercury pose with a couple of mates?
Gamer.nl (Mar 25, 2009)
PAL Gaming Network (PALGN) (Apr 20, 2009)
If you're a Singstar fan and a Queen fan then precious minutes shouldn't be spent on reading this review, but on picking up the game.
D+PAD Magazine (Apr 06, 2009)
Beyond the track list, everything that makes the SingStar series so popular is present and correct; the slick menus, SingStore access, PS Eye functionality and a cast iron guarantee that it will perform the entertainment duties at a dinner party without batting an eyelid. So, SingStar Queen does exactly what it says on the tin. And with SingStar’s recently released wireless microphones, there’s never been a better time to unleash our inner Freddie Mercury.
XGN (Apr 23, 2009)
SingStar Queen is geen onaardige game maar helaas heb je geen goud in handen. Wie wil dit spelen als de meest bekende nummers gewoon al in de SingStore stonden? Niet helemaal een succes dus.
IGN (Aug 04, 2009)
The SingStar formula is fun and Queen is a great band, but that doesn't save this title from being shortchanged. This is the same setup and layout as the original SingStar PS3, but the fact that you're getting just one band means that the title has an incredibly limited appeal. Although a lot of people will know these tracks, they should've been posted to the SingStore so you could pick and choose what you wanted. A standalone band game needs to be augmented with additional content -- hence why Rock Band track packs can be copied to your library.
