Isn't this game and this: http://www.mobygames.com/game/playstation/bishi-bashi-special the same thing? Anyone? Parf?

No merge.
The EU release and the JP release with the same name are two different games. The EU version was released much later and contains two different games than the JP version. This is similar to the confusing releases Beatmania (EU) and Beatmania (JP), where they are two totally different games who just happen to share a name because it's the first to be released in the EU (while being the first time Europeans come in contact with it).
The EU version uses one of the games from the first Bishi Bashi, and one from the sequel. Making it a unique release. :)
