Pyromania: Trial By Fire
Description
In this retro cross between Q*Bert, Make Trax and Pac-Man, a single player controls a pyromaniac in a little van trying to destroy all those pesky creatures. But, every time you complete one of the eight levels, a different challenge awaits you. On odd-numbered levels (except level seven), the player must create fire to kill all the enemies, and on even-numbered levels (and level seven), the player must find the exit. But the obstacles in the player's way change every time - for example, in one level, he/she must find all the gas canisters, and in another, he/she must find fire tiles to roast enemies. Also, in another retro touch, each of the stages is patterned after a retro game of the 1980's era.

Title screen song
The song playing at the title screen is an adaptation of Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start The Fire", rendered by Neil Parsons on Beepola, a Windows application that allows creating and tracking songs for the ZX 48k beeper.
