Rabbids Appisodes is a series of seven episodes, similar to those of the animated TV series Rabbids Invasion, starring the Rabbids characters. Each episode tells a linear story, but the app adds interactive elements on top of it. The main one is that during a show several hidden objects need to be found. A list with icons of the objects is shown near the top and they appear in a chronological order while watching the episode. Players only have a single chance to quickly tap the object to collect it.
Each episode also contains several mini-games. Completing these provides more rewards when the episode is finished, but it is not possible to fail them and prevent the episode from progressing. Examples of mini-games are a Simon Says type of game, a shoot out section launching eggs, screaming 'BWAAAH!' in the device's microphone as loudly as possible, tilting the device to prevent the Rabbids from falling, swiping to hit them, etc. At the end of the episode an overview is shown of all collected objects. The results of each mini-game is also shown, with a maximum of five stars per game. The results add to a meter and provide stickers that can be used like jigsaw puzzle pieces to put together stickers with Rabbids images in an album.
The game was originally launched for iOS as a commercial title, but later on, along with the Android release, it was made free-to-play. Only the first episode (Omelet Party) is available right away and the remaining ones need to be bought individually as in-app purchases or together as a single season pass.
