Description

Ragnarok Online is a massively-multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) based on the fantasy manhwa comic series Ragnarök by Myung-Jin Lee.

The game is set in the Rune-Midgard world of Norse mythology which Ragnarök comes from that means "doom of the gods". The game world is in 3D graphics while the characters are drawn in 2D sprites done like a traditional style console RPG.

Trivia

On September 25, 2008, the International Ragnarok Online (IRO) server added the Free-To-Play Valkyrie Server.

The pre-existing IRO servers, Chaos, Loki and Iris, are now referred to as Premium Servers, along with the test server, Sakray.
