Rubicon
Description
Rubicon is an arcade 2D space shoot 'em up game, where you fight waves of enemies and collect crystal shards. Between the waves you can buy upgrades to your ship's statistics with the collected crystal shards. Shards can also be used to unlock new ships. The ship is moved by WASD and Left Shift activates the afterburner. Aiming is done by mouse cursor and mouse buttons trigger the weapons.
The game was released for free following a crowd funding campaign and the source code was also made available.
