Description

In a dystopian world, the repressive Neo Bungeling Empire have ultimate control, and have stolen the treasures of their people for themselves. However, a young girl named Ira has decided to stand up and fight. Using her village's last treasure, the Steam Dash, she must sneak into the empire's strongholds and recover the stolen treasures.

Search Light is an action puzzle platform game where the player must collect the treasures on each stage without touching the titular searchlights. There are several different colored lights, which move in different patterns. Ira has no attacks, but has access to the "Steam Dash" which allows her to dash forward across gaps. Apart from this, she is able to jump as well as press switches which will change the layout of the stage in various ways.

There are 50 stages total, and the game keeps a record of the best time for each stage, including a replay, and any previously-cleared stage can be freely replayed. As stages are cleared, the player will "rank up", which will grant access to additional tips and other information.
