Is Jurassic Park on the Master System prime time 8-bit gaming? Not quite. Is it a truly authentic Jurassic Park experience? Not quite. All the more impressive then, that it still manages to hold up as an enjoyable movie-based tie-in and a well-crafted game in its own right. There may be little here to recommend to the more general retro gamer, but for Jurassic Park and Sega fans alike, it’s a great way to revisit the twilight days of 8-bit platforming, and a time when dinosaurs ruled the Earth.

Mega Fun (Oct, 1993)
Videospiel meets Filmlizenz, sehr haarige Angelegenheit.

Defunct Games (Feb 04, 2006)
Jurassic Park is a pain to play, it's the type of game you wouldn't play even if you got it for free. If the Spielberg directed movie was anything like this game it would have been hard pressed to even make $100 at the theater, let alone $100 million. With it's terrible controls, boring levels and entirely too difficult boss battles, this is one park you don't want to visit. This is not the worst Jurassic Park game on the market, but it sure comes close.
