The Apple II version, to be more precise. The background story on how he recovered this once lost source code is something interesting also.

I guess GTramp is pointing out the error in including a coma between SEGA and Genesis. Mechner probably meant the SEGA Master System or the SEGA CD, but who knows?

Yes, and I think Jordan could never tell the difference between those systems. Not a huge problem, of course, but it made my eyes sore.

We had a Master System when I was young and I never really knew that was the name until I looked it up years later. I always knew it as the "SEGA". Did know its successor as the Mega Drive.

That conversion was released earlier last year, afaik without access to the original code.

The development blog mentions going through the sources. Only for reference, naturally, since the platforms differ too much to allow porting the code itself.
