Make no mistake about it, this game is meant for kids under 12. If you're the average GamePro reader, you won't find it very challenging. Still, Mario's Time Machine is an engaging way for little kids to learn history while having fun.

This edutainment game has good audio and visuals, but it's too short and highly linear. Most kids will play through it once or twice. Best for family and classroom use.
The concept behind this cart is very good.
Mario's Time Machine was created with kids in mind. Those old enough to take a stab at answering the questions will be totally bored with the so-called action of this game. I'm all for educational video games, but they must be entertaining as well as enlightening.
Total! (Germany) (Jul, 1994)
